English Controlled Assessment - Deadman Wonderland

'Ah, my little woodpecker. How long have you spent trapped inside your little cage?' The girl thought, her unusual crimson eyes glistening with tears that brimmed in the corner of her eyes, threatening to spill down her perfectly-smooth cheeks. Her gaze was locked on to one being in particular...A boy. Through the bars of her small, dusty basement window, she could see him. Him in all his perfection.

Page 2-3 double spread color sample for my portfolio. I might have to work on this one a little more, I think there are still places that can be improved. This one was a definite challenge for me with all the little details, so that's why I wanted to give it a try. Colored by me using Corel Painter X.

I love the intersecting white boundaries around the smaller cells. That looks really nice where it cuts into the larger cell.
